Day 5

Thought we could have some peaceful nights and feedings..now the challenges of raising a newborn child hit us hard..we had a hard time feeding and getting Yuheng to sleep this morning, dunno why he kept crying even after feeding..poor mama tried to feed him but he never seemed to be satisfied. finally got him to sleep after complimenting his meal with formula milk :(

guess the little one has finished his initial food store, and is demanding for more milk..impatience at getting the milk quickly (instant gratification?) and hunger made him cry non-stop, and all of us are at a loss on how to handle him..finally got him to sleep at 630am..few hours before church..phew..wat a start to the day.

as I write, Yuheng is sleeping soundly, after another long "fight" with mama Jen to satisfy his hunger..really admire how Jen perseveres and stay on, despite the frustrations she had when dealing with this little guy. Glad she's producing milk more easily now..hope this can satisfy the ever-hungry Ethan :)

dear God, please guide us and give us wisdom, patience, love and the ability to work as a team (with mum-in-law) during this transition period. Please give Yuheng patience and peace, and teach him to trust Jen for the milk he needs. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
