Now it's week 2 since Ethan is born and back in home. Visited the PD yesterday, and happy to know that he's gaining weight (3.31kg, compared to 3.41kg at birth) and doing fine. Doc says the jaundice level has reached its peak and should drop a few days later.
so far, we have had a challenging week as we learn to decipher his cries and attend to his ever increasing appetite..all of us were at a loss when he cried persistently, even after we had fed him more than 30min. experts say this is likely due to him not getting full feed each time..so we'll try ways to keep him awake and encourage him to feed till full next time..
